Tim Alch is a business and investment analyst with experience advising corporate, financial and government clients.

For much of his career he has been analyzing and evaluating investment and business opportunities in the mining, minerals and energy and steel industry worldwide.

He has worked as a managing director of Behre Dolbear and as senior vice president of Anderson & Schwab, as well as an equity analyst with some of the world's best metals, mining and steel analysts at PaineWebber, Prudential Securities and Dean Witter Reynolds, now part of Morgan Stanley.

He has also served as a senior consultant and steel and aluminum industry analyst at CRU Inc., World Steel Dynamics and Resource Strategies.

He graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts with Honors in Geology and continued studies in the Masters of Science program in Energy and Minerals Economics at Penn State University.

Alch has been an executive committee member of the New York Section of SME since 2008.
